Wyndham Rewards has been on a roll lately, rated the most rewarding hotel loyalty program and releasing one valuable promotion after the other. Now, you can save with two promotions: Earn 15,000 points, enough for a free night, with three stays by using Visa Checkout and get off $10 per night when booking through the Wyndham Rewards mobile app! Together, that’s up to $60 off per night, great value!
Wyndham Rewards is pushing hard to get people to use mobile payment systems and is releasing their third promotion. I took advantage of a previous Visa Checkout (10,000 points for two stays) and MasterPass (15,000 points for two stays). Now, you can earn 15,000 points for three stays with Visa Checkout as follows:
- 1st stay: 3,000 points
- 2d stay: 5,000 points
- 3rd stay: 7,000 points
A stay of a single night is enough to earn the bonus points and you will also earn a minimum of 1,000 regular points for your stay, for a total of 18,000 points, regardless of the price you pay for your stay! I value 1 Wyndham Reward point at 1 cent, for a total value of $180 – or $60/night. With many Wyndham hotels available for less than $60, you can pretty much stay for free.
15,000 points are enough for 1 free night at any Wyndham Worldwide hotel or per room at one of 17,000 vacation rentals & condos, so you could also use them for a stay at expensive hotels in New York or at the Wyndham Santa Monica that charges more than $400 on summer weekends!
Or you can use the points for 6 GoFast cash & point reward nights, sometimes getting you an even higher point value of up to 5 cents per point!
In an improvement over the last promotions, you can now book on the Wyndham website and pay with Visa CheckOut or book on the mobile app. You can book by January 31st, 2018 and complete your stay by February, 28th, 2018!
If you book through the mobile app (available for Apple and Android), you can also take advantage of another promotion, offering $10 off per night! For this offer, you have to book by January 12th, 2018 and stay by January 31st, 2018. This rate is only available on select hotels – I found it for US hotels, but not at several hotels in Europe or Asia that I checked. Also keep in mind that this rate might still be higher than signing up for the Allied Business Network (free, corporate code 8000000066) and getting 20% off!
Wyndham Rewards continues to deliver exceptional value in hotel loyalty and it’s worth jumping in, if the hotels work for you!
