Boracay is famous for it’s soft, white sand beaches and clear warm water and has won plenty of “best island” awards. It’s the most popular tourist destination in the Philippines and has welcomed millions of visitors! I’ve been to Boracay several times and found it to have some of the finest sand, warm water and friendly locals to greet you. But … Continue reading
The year is young, but the hotel promotions keep coming! Wyndham is launching another chance to earn 15,000 points, enough for a free night, with only two stays. After having similar promotions with Visa Checkout and MasterPass, this time any payment method will do! Given the many cheap Wyndham properties, 15,000 points (valued at $150) is a huge discount, worth … Continue reading

This is just one of the aces up the sleeve of Australia’s second city!
The Holiday Inn Potts Point in Sydney offers splendid harbor views with the Sydney skyline, bridge and Opera House. The old-fashioned rooms are big, service is friendly & competent and the location near Kings Cross is convenient and fun. It’s good value and I would recommend it to friends & family! … Continue reading

We visited in the early morning and the sunshine cutting through the mist from the damp forest floor gave it a mysterious atmosphere. The elephant cave entrance is unique among the temples I saw on Bali, so even if you are “templed out”, you might still want to add this temple to your itinerary!
