Fantastic Foto Friday: Repulse Bay – a sandy beach on bustling Hong Kong island

Hong Kong is a bustling metropolis and probably the last thing most people think of is a sandy beach! But, if you want to escape from the hustle of the big city, you only have to take a bus for a short ride across Hong Kong island to Repulse Bay and you can stick your toes into the sand, look out over the ocean or enjoy lunch or drinks in one of the restaurants lining the beach. It’s the most relaxed place I’ve found on the island and it’s worth the trip!

Best of the Maldives in 60 seconds

The Maldives are a dream destination, one of my top 5 romantic destinations and a favorite among honeymooners. They made over-the-water villas a staple of luxury beach vacations and each new hotel seems to outdo the last one.
