Deal Dispatch: Bonus miles on airberlin & Virgin America; up to $350 off Apple Macbook!

This week’s Deal Dispatch brings you the opportunity to earn bonus miles on a number of airlines: Triple miles on airberlin and double miles on Virgin America. JetBlue is offering new members 3,500 points! If you are flying them already – great. If you have a trip planned and not sure about the airline, this might help you decide! And if you want the lightest Apple Macbook to take along – it’s up to $350 off at B&H – the biggest discount ever since it was launched last year!

Flights: airberlin has launched a promotion, offering triple miles in their topbonus rewards program on all airberlin and Etihad Business Class flights! Etihad frequently offers very low business class fares, for example to Asia, making it a much better deal than Premium Economy fares offered by Lufthansa or Singapore Airlines. And one business class flight with triple miles can earn you a free trip on its own. If you are planning to fly economy class, you can still earn 50% extra miles. You have to register by March 14th here and travel by June 30th!
Virgin America is currently offering double Elevate on their flights. You have to register here and book & fly by February 29th to earn extra points! As a revenue-based program, Elevate points are not the most valuable points out there, but flying Virgin America is a lot more fun than the big legacy carriers!
If you are not a JetBlue trueblue member, here is your chance: JetBlue is offering 3,500 for new members who sign up, book & fly by March 14th ,2016. That’s a good way to get you started with the program and you can sign up here!

Gear: I’m a big fan of my Macbook Air – it’s easy to use, light and powerful, and much easier to maintain over the years than a Windows PC. They also have lasted longer than any of my Windows laptops and kept their value better, making them less expensive in the long run! I’ve been enviously watching the new Macbook being launched: it’s even slimmer, lighter and smaller – making it the perfect travel computer. So far, all that came at a steep price, but now, you can get them with discounts of $300-$350 at B&H, an authorized Apple retailer. That makes them much more competitively priced. You can check them out here!
