Buy Hilton Rewards Points with 100% bonus, stay at Hotels from $25/night!

Hilton Honors, the rewards program of Hilton Hotels, is running a promotion and selling Hilton Honors Rewards points with a bonus of 100% for 0.5ct/pt, making it the best deal on Hilton points I’ve seen to date. With rewards nights at Hilton properties for as little as 5,000 points per night, you can stay for as little as $25/night! Find out more below to see if this is a good deal for your travel plans!

The current promotion is open through December 28, 2019 – perfect for some vacation planning over the holidays. You have to purchase a minimum of 10,000 points to receive the 100% bonus and can purchase up to 80,000 points (before bonus) per year. There are higher maximums for targeted members, for example I could buy up to 160,000 points (plus the 160,000 bonus) this year!

One of my favorite uses for Hilton rewards points is at the Hilton Garden Inn Bali – it’s a great hotel near the airport, perfect for late arrivals to Bali, early departures or a short stop over to one of the other nearby islands. For 5,000 points/night (or $25), you get big, modern rooms, a resort pool and friendly service. As a Hilton Honors Gold or Platinum member, you get a big, free breakfast, too, making this a great value use of points!

Unfortunately, the number of category 1 hotels available for only 5,000 pt has shrunk over the years and Hilton has moved towards “revenue based” redemptions, making it difficult to get much more than the purchase price of 0/5 ct/pt in value for many redemptions.
Therefore, I recommend to only purchase points when you have a high-value redemption in mind that will offer a significant discount on regular cash rates. Keep in mind that redemptions are including taxes!
