Time to do a round-up of the best hotel rewards promotion for fall 2017: Accor LeClub is offering up to 6,000 bonus points after three 2-night stays. Marriott Rewards offers a new MegaBonus promotion with one free night after only two stays. And IHG Rewards Club has another Accelerate promotion with personalized goals to earn lots of bonus points! Find out which one works best for you in my detailed review!Accor Hotels offers some of the most generous promotions in the industry, typically alternating between “Private Sales” with big cash discounts and bonus point promotions. This month, it’s time for another bonus point promotions that follows the familiar pattern, offering up to 6,000 bonus points for 3 stays of a minimum of 2 nights, booked by October 22nd and stays completed by December 31st. I will most likely go for this one and should be able to complete it! You can find more details in my review here!
Marriott Hotels goes back and forth between great and awful promotions, fortunately this quarter is the former! To participate in the “Stay Twice, Get a free Night” promotion, you have to register by November 30th and stay twice by January 15th, 2018 to earn a free night in a category 1-5 hotel (worth up to 25,000 points valued at $200). It’s a generous promotion, but challenging for me, as there are few Marriott hotels in Asia or Europe to make the stays. You can only earn one free night, but Marriott promises individual bonus offer after you complete the two stays! I’ll give it a shot though – you can find the details here!
InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) is running another iteration of their Accelerate Promotion. It sets personalized objectives, based on your travel history, and offers a lot of bonus points for achieving some/most of the goals. In my case, the latest round looks like this:
I’d have to stay three times, including a weekend, for a total of 5 nights to earn up to 38,500 points (value at $193). It’s fairly complicated and not as generous as Marriott and it doesn’t help that IHG doesn’t seem to honor their own (long list of) terms and conditions – I’m still in dispute with them, trying to get them to honor the last round and will sit this one out!
I hope one of those promotions works for you and allows you to save on your future travels. Which one will you be signing up for?
