Philippine Airlines (PAL) is continuing to expand its network and is launching three new routes over the next few months, including new non-stop flights to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Hanoi, Vietnam, and New Dehli in India. PAL is also increasing the frequency of flights to New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto, Sydney, Brisbane and a number of Asian destinations, enhancing its position as a connecting carrier between North America and Asia! Find out more about flights and the experience to expect below!
It’s great to see Philippine Airlines expand their network across Asia. It’ll start on March 31, 2019 with a new route to Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital, with four weekly non-stop flights. On April 1, 2019, it’ll start the first non-stop flight between Manila and Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia with five weekly flights. Unfortunately, both routes will be red-eye flights, arriving around mid-night and returning to Manila in the wee hours of the morning…
After more than five years of absence, Philippine Airlines will return to New Dehli, the capital of India, in April with four flights per week. Interestingly, the flights will be operated by PAL’s new Airbus A321 planes with fully flat seats in Business Class, making this an intriguing option.
In addition to these new routes, Philippine Airlines will also increase frequencies within its existing network, offering more connections for passengers:

Osaka – from four weekly to daily
Bangkok – from 21 weekly to 25 weekly
Kuala Lumpur – from daily to 11 weekly
Jakarta – from daily to 11 weekly
Los Angeles – from double daily to 17 weekly
San Francisco – from 10 weekly to double daily
New York – from five weekly to daily
Toronto – from five weekly to daily
Sydney – from daily to nine weekly
