This week’s Deal Dispatch brings you some bargain flights from San Francisco to Asia and Europe – it seems like there is on end to bargain flights this year! And if you’d rather stay in the US, you can snatch an inexpensive flight and a beautiful hotel in New York instead!
Flights: The constant flow of great flight deals to both Asia and Europe continues: This week, you can fly on Turkish Airlines non-stop from San Francisco to Istanbul, Turkey, starting at $699 for travel through April! I have never been to Istanbul, but it’s high on my list of cities to visit and I have a trip booked on Turkish Airlines next month! Turkish Airlines is a 4-star airline and has won the SkyTrax award for best European Airline, so I’m looking forward to trying it out! You can find out more about this deal at TravelZoo!
If you’d rather go to Asia, you can still get great deals from San Francisco: China Eastern Airlines flies to Bangkok, the City of Angels, from $614 round-trip! While China Eastern wouldn’t be my first pick, it’s a great price to see one of my favorite cities in Asia! You can find more details at airfarewatchdog!
And if you’d rather see more of the US, maybe go to my other favorite US city, New York! I’m in New York right now and enjoying it as always! You can find flights for under $300 round-trip from around the US here!
Hotels: Once you get to New York, you’ll need a hotel and those are often pricey! Fortunately, from January 3-15 is “Hotel Week” (yeah, ok, it’s a long week) and hotels over greatly reduced rates of $100/$200/$300, including some pretty stylish options like the Gansevoort! You can find the participating hotels and rates here!
