Bali has many beaches to choose from and for families with kids, Nusa Dua is the best, with shallow water, low waves and lots of room to run around. You check into the ibis styles Benoa Bali or Mercure Nusa Dua with resort pools and beach access for a 5 days of beach bliss. After a few days of relaxation, you transfer to Ubud in the cool forests of Bali, surrounded by rice paddies. You check into a small hotel with Balinese style and friendliness, like the Padma Ubud Retreat, your hideout among forests and rice paddies. Or the more modern evitel! A private driver will take you to explore the beautiful temples along the lakes and mountains further North – I’m sure they will leave some lasting impressions!
On the following days, you can explore this peaceful town: You enjoy walks through the quiet forests and rice paddies, do yoga or meditation at a retreat or have a few more massages. There are lots of good restaurants here as well, like the excellent Kebun Bistro or popular Buonasera and staying in Ubud will allow you to see it’s best side after the day-trippers have left! You’ll also have a chance to watch a traditional dance show in the evening!
With relaxation on the beach and in the quiet forests and rice paddies of the island; enriched by the historic and cultural insights of your sightseeing, it’s time to head back to the airport at Denpasar for your flight home!
