This week’s DealDispatch brings you a selection of travel gear from Acer – with tablets starting below $50 and Chromebook laptops under $100 and Nikon – with a selection of cameras starting from $80, you can get some good gadgets for little money!
Acer is selling their refurbished tablets and computers on their own site, called “Scratch & Dent” – that sounds a lot worse than it is. I’ve bought a number of refurbished gadgets and they usually are like new, including a warranty. You can find an 8in Android tablet with 16GB of storage for only $49, an 11.6in Chromebook (which I have and love!) for only $90 or a similar laptop with Windows 10 for the same price. Having an inexpensive laptop or tablet for traveling is great – at those prices, you don’t have to worry about loosing it or having it stolen! You can browse their list of items available here – and shipping is free!
Nikon is also selling their refurbished gear on their own site. Read my post How to find the right travel camera to find what camera is right for you. You can pick from a number of travel zoom cameras that are compact, yet have a long zoom lens for anything from landscapes to wildlife photos, like the Coolpix S6800, a compact travel zoom with a 12x lens for $120 or the Coolpix S9700 with a 30x zoom for $210. If you are planning a beach trip, a rugged and waterproof camera like the Coolpix AW100 for $170 might be a good fit. If you are looking for better image quality in a small package, the Coolpix P330 for $200, with its much larger 1/1.7in sensor and a 5x zoom lens is a good step up! You can check out the options and prices here! Shipping is free for any order of $99 or more!
ebags is a great site to buy your travel luggage – they have a huge selection and offer very competitive deals, including my favorite travel bag, the excellent Weekender Convertible! These deals are even better during sales and promotions. Currently, you can get 25% of with the code FINAL. As a new shopper, you can also get 20% of your next order by signing up for their email list. There is an additional, stacking discount available by going through a shopping portal. Topcashback.com (which I reviewed here) currently offers a 20% cashback by going through their site – that could be 40-45% of your next bag! If you are not a member of TopCashBack, you can sign up through my link and get an extra $10 from the portal (and I also get $15 – thanks for your support!) In any case, this can be a good time to shop for that new luggage you wanted for the next trip!
