The Novotel Nha Trang has a prime location in the heart of Nha Trang, right on the mile long, sandy beach. It’s an older property, but rooms are well maintained and in good condition and room prices offer great value. Hoi An is my favorite city in Vietnam and it must be one of the most “instagrammable” places – everywhere you turn, you’ll find beautiful views: in the old town, along the river, on the beach or in the fields surrounding this relaxed town in Central Vietnam.
Check out my Destination Guide Hoi An to plan your own trip to Hoi An!
I love long walks on the beach, looking out over the ocean to the horizon, it has something relaxing and calming for me. And one of the longest beaches I’ve found is on the coast of Central Vietnam, from Da Nang in the North to Hoi An in the South with over 30km of white sand beach. Some are quiet, some are busy, so there should be a stretch of sand right for everybody!

With failing low-cost carriers in Europe and a series of accidents in Asia, travelers are more cautious about flying an unfamiliar low-cost carrier. I consider … Continue reading
Earlier this year I reported of the plans to launch a new hybrid airline in Vietnam, Bamboo Airways, and now they received their license to operate from the aviation authorities in Vietnam, allowing them to start flying within 45 days – or in early 2019. The airline industry is notoriously difficult, so it’s great to see another airline enter the … Continue reading

Bamboo Airways signed deals for 24 Airbus A321neo in March and for 20 Boeing B787 in June. They have already received preliminary approvals from the Vietnamese government and plan to launch domestic service in Vietnam with leased planes … Continue reading
