Sydney might have the stunning harbor views with the bridge and opera house, but Melbourne has some interesting sights on its own. You’ll have to look a little closer, but the street art all around the city is pretty amazing and I found myself wondering aimlessly and taking photos in the little neighborhoods – a great way to spend a leisurely day!

The Great Ocean Road is one of my favorite road trips, with stunning views all along the dramatic shore line. And the Twelve Apostle are the most amazing spot! It’s also a great getaway from Melbourne, with sandy beaches and small coastal towns to relax and enjoy a few days! If you like to drive, rent a car and try it out – it’s a trip of a lifetime!
If you want to get out of bustling Melbourne for a relaxing day on the beach, it couldn’t be any easier: Just take the tram to St. Kilda and you’ll be walking along the shoreline in no time or stretch out on the white sand beach with a view over the water! This is just one of the aces up the sleeve of Australia’s second city!
