I have reported a few times on deals of Accor Hotels – they run frequent promotions that offer great deals, both to accumulate points or take advantage of big discounts. Today, you can take advantage of either, so check out the details for the current promotions to either collect points and earn Accor Leclub status or get discounts on rooms around the world!
Accor LeClub, the reward program of Accor, is going to change the way status is calculated next year. So, the current points promotion is probably the last chance to easily get status. By booking today and staying by December 26th, you can earn up to 10,000 bonus points – enough to earn Gold in the program – by staying 4 times at least 2 nights each (register and book here). Because Accor LeClub has revenue-based rewards, 10,000 points are worth $225 regardless of where and when you stay – that can be a significant discount! I have taken advantage of that promotion and two stays were enough to renew Platinum status for one more year in Accor LeClub! While Platinum wasn’t worth much as little as 18 months ago, Accor has stepped up the benefits and I have been very impressed – check out my reviews of the Sofitel Luang Prabang and Sofitel Manila to see what you can expect!
If you missed the above promotion, don’t worry – the next one is already live! Accor has announced their next Private Sale, offering up to 30% discount on rooms and free breakfast – a great value for some of the excellent buffets, especially if you don’t have status or the hotel doesn’t have a lounge! While the amount of the actual discount compared to the lowest other rate available, it typically is the best deal available for that hotel and a great time to book! You have to book by October 21st, 2016 for stays from December 1st (or 16th, depending on location) until March 5th, 2017. Check out the deals and book here!
