Best Brunch in Manila – Wildflour Cafe & Bakery Bonifacio Global City

I love good coffee and breakfast is my favorite meal – fortunately, Manila seems to agree with that and has lots of coffee shops. In addition to all the big chains, you also find a number of great independent stores, like Single Origin, or mini-chains with a few outlets, like Wildflour Cafe & Bakery. Wildflour makes some of the best croissants and pastries in town and offers a sumptuous brunch as well. With outlets in Makati, Bonifacio Global City (BGC) and Ortigas, they have the major business districts covered!

My favorite outlet is Wildflour BGC – it not only is close to our home and my office, but also has great service! They are located on the corner of 26th Street and 4th Avenue, a busy area on weekdays, but pretty quiet on weekends. They have outdoor seating as well as air conditioned space inside. mnl-wildlflour-interior2I found the service here to be more friendly, attentive and quicker than at the other outlets, so you’ll be at a table with the menus in no time. The staff is patient and knowledgeable and allows you to customize your orders. Before you order, make sure to take a look at their pastry display – the croissants and danish are some of the best in Manila.

Some of our favorites are the waffles with fried chicken, the Wildflour breakfast or the toast with salmon and eggs! The German pancakes are not very German, but great for anybody with a sweet tooth!

mnl-wildlflour-waffleschickenWildflour does not offer the variety of beans and brewing methods you’ll find at Single Origin, but their cappuccino is one of my favorites in Manila. It’s rich in taste, with thick and creamy milk foam, just like the Italian creators meant it to be. And at the BGC outlet, it’s served reasonably quickly, so your coffee cravings don’t have to wait too long.

It’s worth the premium to me and I suggest you check it out for your next coffee or brunch! You can find this and other Widlflour outlets on my Manila Map – click on it for more detail!
